【摘要】:Coresamplingisanacceptablewayofobtainingatestspecimenwithoutdestroyingtheusefulnessofacathodeblock.4.1.1TestspecimensobtainedbythisguidecanbeusedbyproducersandusersofcathodeblocksforthepurposeofconductingthetestsinNote1toobtaincomparativephysicalproperties.Samplingshallnotweakenthecathodeorincreasethelikelihoodofprematurefailure.Extremecareshallbeexercisedwhentakingverticallydrilledsamples.1.1Thissamplingguidewasdevelopedforcarboncathodeblocksusedintheproductionofaluminum,anddetailsproceduresfortakingtestsamplesfromsinglecathodeblocks.Itcoversequipmentandproceduresforobtainingsamplesfromcathodeblocksinamannerthatdoesnotdestroytheblockorpreventitssubsequentuseasoriginallyintended.However,theusermustdeterminethesubsequentuseofthesampledcathodeblocks.Preferredlocationsfortakingsamplesfromsingleunitsofcathodesarecoveredinthisguide.1.1.1Informationforsamplingofshapedrefractoryproducts,ingeneral,isgiveninISO5022.Thisstandarddetailsthestatisticalbasisforsamplingplansforacceptancetestingofaconsignmentorlot.Cathodeblocksusedintheproductionofaluminumhavespecificrequirementsofsampling,andwhilethestaisticalbasisorsamplinggiveninISO5022applies,furtherormodifiedrequirementsmay,also,apply.1.2SIunitsarethestandardinthisguide.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThefollowingASTMstandardsarenotedassourcesofusefulinformation:TestMethodsC559,C611,C651,C747,C1025,C1039,andE1225.
