【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793isintendedprimarilyfortestingeitherfibresasproducedbyafibremanufacturerorsubsequentlyovercoated(tightbuffered)usingvariouspolymers.Thetestcanbeperformedeitheronfibresasproducedorafterexposuretovariousenvironments.Inthelattercase,however,itmustbeconsideredthatsomecoatingproperties(whichcanaffectthestrippingforce)needsometimetostabiliseafteranyperturbation(e.g.duetowaterimmersion):arecoverytimeofatleast72hat25℃+5℃and30%to60%R.H.issuggestedwhenstabilisedpropertiesaretobemeasured.ThistestappliestoA1,A2,A3andBfibres.Theobjectofthisstandardistoestablishuniformrequirementsforthemechanicalcharacteristic-coatingstrippability.Thistestquantifiestheforcerequiredtomechanicallyremovetheprotectivecoatingfromopticalfibresalongtheirlongitudinalaxis.Thistestisnotintendedasameanstomaximizefibrestrengthafterthecoatingisremovednorisitintendedtospecifythebestconditionsforfieldstrippingofopticalfibres.Thistestisdesignedforopticalfibreshavingpolymericcoatingswithnominalouterdiametersintherangeof250μmto900μm.Applicationofthismethodtofibreswithoutercoatingdiametersoutsidetherangeof230μmto930μmisnotrecommended.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecomparativeapparenttensilestrengthofmostplasticproductsutilizingasplitdisktestfixture,whentestedunderdefinedconditionsofpretreatment,temperature,humidity,andtestmachinespeed.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoreinforced-thermosettingresinpiperegardlessoffabricationmethod.Thistestmethodalsoisapplicabletoextrudedandmoldedthermoplasticpipe.ProcedureAisusedforreinforced-thermosettingresinpipe;ProcedureBisusedforthermoplasticpipeofanysize;ProcedureCisusedforthermoplasticpipewithnominaldiameterof4-1/2in.andgreater.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
